Jodi Thornton NelsonJodi is a new author, but not new to writing. She has been writing poetry since her teenage years as a way to express herself. Jodi met and married her husband in Japan when they were both nineteen years old and in the Air Force. When Jodi's childrenwere toddlers, she would make up stories to entertain them on long car rides. Jodi was a stay-at-home mom until her children went to preschool. Since then, she has been a preschool teacher, teacher's aide in elementary and high schools, and worked in various education related jobs. She is now happily enjoying retirement with her husband of 43+ years. Reading has always been Jodi's favorite pastime; her love of books was passed down from her parents and continues to thrive in her children and grandchildren.
