Joellen WelshDr. Welsh is a preeminent researcher on the role of Vitamin D in breast cancer and studies nuclear receptors in health and disease. The Welsh lab has particular expertise in studying the role of dietary-derived ligands for nuclear receptors in cancerprevention and therapy. Recent projects have focused on the molecular mechanisms by which vitamin D and its nuclear receptor modulate adiposity, stem cell function and cancer development.
