Johanna LeinonenJohanna Leinonen is a research specialist at the Novia University for Applied Sciences, Finland. She completed her PhD in history in 2011 at the University of Minnesota, United States. She holds the title of associate professor (docent) in research o multiculturalism from the University of Turku (2016). Her research interests include migration history, forced migration and family separation, family and marriage migration, and gender and migration.
