John A. KeelJohn A. Keel was born in New York state in 1930. He started his writing career in the 1940s, writing for magazines, comic books and television, then travelled the world, spotting his first UFO in Egypt and a yeti in Sikkim. The author of more than a ozen books, he is most famous for THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, his classic account of the paranormal phenomena he experienced in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in 1966.
