John Acorn
John Acorn is a lifelong naturalist, author, and educator whose passion for the natural world has made him a household name in Canadian natural history. He was the writer and host of the popular television series The Nature Nut and <>Acorn’s Nature Notes, and has authored seventeen books on various aspects of biology and wildlife. Born and raised in Edmonton, he currently teaches at the University of Alberta in the Department of Renewable Resources. Known for his infectious curiosity and scientific expertise, Acorn continues to inspire audiences of all ages to look closer at the incredible biodiversity found in their own backyards and beyond.
