John Bullen
Captain John Bullen commanded 1 Topographical Survey Troop of the Australian Task Force at Nui Dat. He had previously served in National Service, in the Citizen Military Forces and with the Australian Regular Army as a soldier before being commissoned as a Lieutenant in 1958. He retired from the Army in 1983 and joined the staff of the Australian War Memorial. Paul Ham is the award-winning author of VIETNAM: THE AUSTRALIAN WAR and KOKODA.
