John FornerJohn is a retired, central Minnesota, Lake Wobegon Boy who grew up living along the Sauk River just outside the small town of Rockville. Though he lives only 15 miles from where he grew up, he has two daughters that have taken him to other amazing plces on this planet: Australia, Korea, China, Norway and Montana. He and his wife Mary bought a tiny teardrop camper when they retired. They have camped in every one of Minnesota's 61 state park campgrounds. They're now working on visiting all the National Parks. During his working years John was a software engineer (programmer) in the eye glass/optical industry and worked for many years before that as a draftsman in the building granite industry. Besides writing poetry John has many other side-track interests: watercolor painting, photography, wood working, hiking, camping. If you really want to go off on a tangent with him, ask about that wooden digital clock he is building. Read More Read Less
