John Haynes Holmes
John Haynes Holmes (1879-1964) was an American Unitarian minister, pacifist, and social activist. He co-founded the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and was a prominent voice for civil rights and peace. Holmes advcated for social justice, interfaith dialogue, and nonviolent resistance, leaving a legacy of progressive activism and ethical leadership.
