John HusseyJohn Hussey was born in 1933, and was awarded an OBE in 1971 for his services to British interests abroad. He has written for more than a dozen military journals, and has appeared in BBC documentaries as a consultant on the First World War. He is curently the British representative on the historical committee advising the Belgian authorities on their project to restore the battlefield of Waterloo. This is his first full-length book.
