John LevyJohn Levy was born in 1951. At 37, he went to law school. The last 18 years of his life as a lawyer, he worked in the county public defender's office, representing adults accused of felonies. He retired in January 2016. He has been publishing books o poetry and prose since 1980, the most recent having been published by the US press, otata's bookshelf. He was a contributing editor to 'Shearsman' magazine in its earliest years, and has appeared in its pages regularly thereafter. This is his first book publication with the parent press.
