John Myhill
John Myhill is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Haifa, where he has taught sociolinguistics since 1995. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 and previousl taught at SUNY-Buffalo and the University of Michigan. He has published articles on Jewish sociolinguistics in a number of journals and collections, and he has also done research on Hebrew semantics and syntax, Black English, and language typology. He is the author of Typological Discourse Analysis (1992).
