John PfitznerJohn Pfitzner received a commendation in the Max Harris Poetry Award 2008 and was joint runner-up in the 2009 Studio Prize. By profession he spent time as a minister of religion and as a publishing house editor. He lived for fifteen years in an Aboriinal community in Central Australia where he learnt an Aboriginal language. In his younger days he was an Aussie Rules player and marathon runner.
