John S. KingJohn Sumpter King (1843–1921) was a physician, renowned author, and psychical researcher. He also founded the Canadian Society for Psychical Research and was a prominent member of numerous fraternal groups, such as the Freemasons and Odd Fellows. Kin rose to prominence as a surgeon and doctor in Toronto. King spent a lot of time conducting research and frequently contributed to publications and weekly newspapers.
