John William Draper
John William Draper (1811-1882) was an American scientist, philosopher, and historian known for his works on the history of science. He was the first president of the American Chemical Society and a professor at New York University. Draper's writigs often focused on the relationship between science and religion, shedding light on the historical conflicts and interactions between the two disciplines.
