He came to Texas in 1969, where he was raised and educated.He enjoyed writing poems and other literature as he grew up. As an adult, heventured down a dark path and, ater hitting Rock Bottom in 1996, decidedto write a book about his life. The autobiography titled The Ups and Downs ofJ.C. - My Crazy Life. Mi Vida Loca was released in March 2025. He was diagnosedwith a brain tumor and had it removed on July 3, 2024.
