Jorge E. VidalDr. Jorge E. Vidal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology and a member of the Center for Immunology and Microbial Research at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In his research laboratory, Dr. Vida studies the molecular mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis, biofilm formation, and the mechanisms leading to the acquisition of antibiotic resistance.
