Joe has written Bible studies and books including, The 40 Day Spiritual Adventure, youth journal, De Dia a Dia, and devotional, Cup O Jo and Stories Written, and newest release collaborative work, The Watchman's Journal - 99 Days on the Wall. Joe and his wife Susan have six children and stepchildren, and ten grandchildren.
