Joy RudderJoy Rudder was born in Trinidad and has traveled throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and North America. She is a writer, gardener, chaplain, and chef. She is author of The Old House and the Dream: The Story of the Asa Wright Nature Center (2009) Glimpses of the Blue Caribbean: Oceans, Coasts and Seas and How They Shape Us (2000); and Our Native Land (1991). She attended Regent College and lives in Richmond, British Columbia, with her husband, Charlie.
