JOYCE BADIEJoyce Badie is equipped with talent that streams through her veins. She writes lyrics, sings, produces, directs, acts, models, dances, is athletic, and so on. She loves to help others by volunteering in cooking, serving, and assisting in so many ways Joyce grew up in Dora, Alabama. Even as a child she loved to write, draw, dance, cook, travel, etc. She directed her first gospel music video called Grateful, which was derived from her first book called The Next Lifetime. After all of her traveling via military and now her husband's current job, she has found her way back home in Alabama alone with her lovely family of two wonderful kids and her lovingly supportive husband. Joyce Badie was inspired to write Wilbur and Simmy to raise awareness about bullying and to empower young readers to recognize the power of knowledge, encouragement, and acceptance. She encourages parents to talk to kids about feelings such as love, hurt, disappointment, and bullying.
