Jr., John Pettit John Pettit earned his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and his BBA and MBA from the University of North Texas. For 34 years John Pettit has taught business communication and other courses at several universities including, Austin Peay Stae University, Wichita State University, University of North Texas, Texas Tech University, Louisiana State University, and Mississippi State University. He is a Fellow, former president, and former Executive Director of the Association for Business Communication.
