Juan E. Trinidad SegoviaJuan E. Trinidad Segovia is Full Professor of Finance at the University of Almería. His research focuses on quantitative finance and econophysics, fields in which he has published more than seventy articles in leading international journals, includin Physical Review Letters, Physical Review Research, Physica A, Finance Research Letters, and Scientific Reports. His 2008 article in Physica A, cited over 350 times, is considered one of the most influential contributions to the study of memory processes in financial time series. He has supervised eight PhD dissertations—several completed by international students—and currently directs four additional doctoral projects, including one under an international co-tutelle agreement.
