Judith LauwersJudith Lauwers, BA, IBCLC, FILCA, was cofounder and Executive Director of Breastfeeding Support Consultants from 1981 to 2004. She is a founding member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) and the Lactation Education Accreditaion and Approval Review Committee (LEAAARC). She also served on the Panel of Experts for the first exam offered by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
