Julia DeakinJulia Deakin was born in Nuneaton and meandered north via the Potteries, Manchester and York, to Huddersfield where she taught, married, did a poetry MA and took up ice skating. Her collections include The Half-Mile-High Club (a 2007 Poetry Business ompetition winner) Without a Dog (Graft, 2008) and Eleven Wonders (Graft, 2012).
