Julia Underwood

Julia grew up loving animals and pursued a degree in veterinary medicine. She spent several years involved in community service, but now in full retirement, she's an avid writer, reader, artist, and swimmer. Mom to adult children, she has always hd fur babies too. She lives on the West Coast, and it's her rescue pup who keeps her in line, loving to reach up and slap her laptop shut when it's time for a break. The joy of discovering the journey to novel writing cannot be overstated. She hopes her admiration for the love, dedication, and competence women bring to the multitude of roles they fill in this complicated world comes through in her writing.
