Julian Barker
Julian Barker is a professional music researcher specialising in the 1950s and '60s. He has contributed to a multitude of books and magazines both in the UK and Europe, as well as undertaking numerous one‑off projects for authors, newspapers and rdio. From 1988 onwards, he also worked part-time as a music archivist and was archive consultant for "The Blues Rock Explosion", voted the Sunday Times' best music reference book of 2002. A native of Hastings, he now lives in Chertsey, Surrey.
