Julian HermidaProfessor Julian Hermida is Associate Professor of Law at Algoma University's Department of Law and Politics (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario). He teaches Law, Criminology, and Criminal Justice courses. He holds master's and doctoral degrees from Mcill University's Faculty of Law and a postdoctoral degree from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law (Common Law section). He has published numerous books, book chapters, and journal articles. His teaching and research interests include International and Comparative Law, Canadian Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, Air and Space Law, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. He practised law in Montreal, New York, and Buenos Aires.
