Julie R. MarigaJulie R. Mariga is an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems and Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. Her areas of interest include collaborative computing, mobile computing and increasing under-represented grups in the Information Technology field. Professor Mariga is an award-winning teacher at Purdue University. She has won a university-level teaching award, two school-level teaching awards, and three department-level teaching awards. Professor Mariga co-authored the textbook Client/Server Information Systems: A Business Oriented Approach (1999), is a contributing author to The Internet Encyclopedia (2002), both of which are published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
