Knowing that somethingI helped create might possibly affect a child's life, even in the smallest way, is deeply fulfillingand continues to drive my work every day.I have been professionally illustrating for over six years. While I began as a hands-on illustrator, my role has evolved into Art Direction, where I now lead creative teams at KidsBookArt LLC. I nolonger illustrate full storybooks on my own; instead, I focus on building strong visualfoundations for each project. This includes storyboarding, defining artistic direction, andassigning tasks based on individual team members' strengths.As an Art Director, I work closely with clients- conducting meetings, understanding theirvision, values, and the purpose behind each book. I help explore creative possibilities, alignvisuals with storytelling goals, and ensure the final artwork reflectsboth emotional depth andclarity for young readers.
