Jyri Vilko

Jyri Vilko is an associate professor of logistics at LUT University (LUT), Finland. He has been a researcher at different levels in Lappeenranta University of Technology in the school of business and in the department of industrial management. He lso holds a position of adjunct professor in Thammasat Business School, Thailand. His recent research interests are in the areas of supply chain risk management, logistics, service networks and value creation. He has published on these topics in high-quality academic journals such as International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Logistics Management and Accident Analysis & Prevention. He has been managing several large research projects funded by Business Finland, European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund. He has also been involved in business practice with regard to these topics through his research, and in speaker, facilitator and advisory roles.
