K.D. Fitzwilliam is a New Zealand author fascinated by the ordinary lives that history leaves behind.

When not writing, he researches Roman daily life, travels with his wife, and shares his space with a watchful trio of cats who oversee ever draft with great seriousness.

He is currently working on the second book in the An Etched Coin series, continuing the story of Lucius and the Subura.
