K E SwopeK.E. Swope started out as a math teacher and then took a break to stay at home with two young boys. When returning to the work force, she became a technical writer, which led to teaching that subject at a two-year college. Along the way, she earned aMaster of Arts in Liberal Studies at Wesleyan University, where she began to have an interest in creating stories herself.
