K TayungK. Tayung, is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, North Orissa University, India. He obtained his Ph.D from University of Gauhati, Assam. He was awarded with CSIR project fellowship and DRDO research fellowship. He has 10 years ofteaching and research experience. His research interest is microbial diversity with special inclination to endophytic fungi and their bioactive metabolites. He has published more than 25 papers in national and international reputed journals. Currently he is working as Co-PI in DST project on "Microbial diversity of Similipal Biosphere Reserve with reference to their bioactive metabolites".
