K. AjeshHe has completed his masters in Microbiology from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India and received PhD in Microbiology from Kannur University, Kerala India. His area of research is peptide antibiotics, biofilms, drug resistance and Phage therapy. Hehas more than five years of teaching and research experience. His contribution in antimicrobial peptides and drug resistance appeared in various journals including-peptides, Journal of Applied microbiology, Applied Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Mycopathologia. He has been Board of studies member in Microbiology (2014-18) and Chairman, Board of Examiners in Biotechnology and Microbiology (2012-15), Kannur University. He is a reviewer of Journal of Bacteriology and Mycology.
