Kadir Nelson

KADIR NELSON a gagné de nombreux prix pour son travail en tant qu'illustrateur. Ses oeuvres ont paru dans plusieurs publications et ont été exposées dans des galeries et des musées à travers le monde. Son premier livre en tant qu'uteurillustrateur, We Are the Ship, a été classé au palmarès du New York Times et lui a permis de remporter le prix Coretta Scott King du meilleur auteur ainsi qu'une mention d'honneur pour ses illustrations.

KADIR NELSON illustrated two Caldecott Honor Books: Moses and Libre: Le long voyage d'Henri. Ellington Was Not a Street by Ntozake Shange won the Coretta Scott King Award. Will Smith's Just The Two of Us won an NAACP Image Award, and his new book, We Are The Ship continues to garner major awards. Nelson showed artistic talent at age three and began working in oils by age sixteen. Kadir Nelson lives in Los Angeles.
