Kalyan GayenDr. Kalyan Gayen is an academician in the field of Chemical Engineering. He is currently working in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Agartala, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of ChemicalEngineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California. His current research interests are microalgae and cyanobacteria-based biofuels and bioproducts, conversion of lignocellulosic biomass into liquid biofuels and value-added chemicals, metabolic network analysis and systems biology and fermentation technology.
He executed five externally funded projects and guided three Ph.D. students. Dr. Gayen published more than thirty-six research articles, one edited book, thirteen book chapters, and several presentations at national and international conferences. Read More Read Less
