Kaoru InoueKaoru Inoue was born in Osaka, Japan. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Kansai University, Suita, Japan, in 1996 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Osaka University, Suita, in 2001. He was a research fellow with the Japan Socity for the Promotion of Science, Tokyo, Japan, from 2000 to 2001. Since 2001, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan, where he is currently a professor. He was a visiting scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, from 2007 to 2008.
