Karan KumarDr. Karan Kumar is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Neuroscience, University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, Inda. He did his M.Tech from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and B.Tech from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has worked as an Associate Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in Maharishi Markandeshwar Engineering College, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, India. He has over fourteen years of experience in teaching and research. He has published more than 30 papers in SCI/Scopus journals and along with this, more than 20 papers in reputed national/international conferences/book chapters. He has edited one book as sole editor. In continuation to this, he has 1 patent granted and published 2 patents in the relevant fields. He has attended many national level FDP's/workshops. He is an active reviewer in various reputed journals such as Artificial Intelligence Review, IET Image Processing, Supercomputing, IEEE Access, Cluster Computing, IJCS etc. His research interests include image processing, video processing, machine learning, deep learning, cyber security.
