Karen Blomain
Karen Blomain, a native of Pennsylvania, received two PEN USA Syndicated Fiction Prizes, numerous fellowships, and residencies. She published four volumes of poetry and edited an anthology of regional poetry. She received an MFA in Creative Writin from Columbia University and conducted writing workshops in France, Austria, Russia, and throughout the United States. A Trick of Light was her first novel, originally published in 2000. Karen Blomain passed away in 2012.
