Karen Doerr

Karen DoerrROBERT MICHAEL is Professor of European History at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where he has taught the Holocaust for 25 years. He has published over 50 articles on the Holocaust and anti-Semitism and several books, including The Hoocaust Chronicle (1999) and The Holocaust: A Chronology and Documentary (1998). He is a recipient of the American Historical Association's James Harvey Robinson Prize for the most outstanding contribution to the teaching and learning of history in any field (1997).

KARIN DOERR teaches German at Concordia University in Montreal, is a research associate at the Montreal Institute for Genocide Studies, and a teacher at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute for Women's Studies. Her latest research involves Holocaust survivors and their recollections of the German language from the Hitler period.
