Karen LarsenKaren Brimley Larsen is not your typical writer, but has found a lot of joy in books, mostly music books as an opera singer. A graduate of the University of Utah at age fifty-three, she had a pretty good idea what she could do for her next career mov, and it wasn't singing. Her inspiration for Twas the Night in Bethlehem came from her eight children and sixteen grandchildren. She wrote the poem for a Christmas program, and after sharing it with her family, they insisted she publish it.
