Karen SilverKaren Silver is an emerging writer born and presently residing in St. Johns', NL. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland where she majored in Communications and minored in Linguistics. Karen worked on the Univrsity's Student Newspaper, The Muse from 2014-2018 where she held the positions of Feature Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Online Editor, and then went on to become Editor in Chief for her final academic year.

Karen is a member of the Writer's Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador, and has primarily centered her writing career in journalism thus far; freelancing for other local publications, and writing book reviews and other local arts pieces before she was awarded a grant from Arts NL which helped publish her first set of children's stories set in Newfoundland and Labrador....
