Karin CadwellKarin Cadwell, PhD, RN, FAAN, ANLC, IBCLC is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker, researcher and educator in the field of health communication and maternal child health. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field of nuring and a PhD in health policy. She has worked in hospitals and in public health settings and as university faculty in health communication and maternal child health. She convened Baby-Friendly USA, implementing the UNICEF Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative in the US. Dr. Cadwell served on the IBLCE Panel of Experts to develop the first certification exam. Her extensive clinical experience includes hospital and community practice, and she continues to counsel nursing mothers on Cape Cod.She is a currently a member of the faculty of the Healthy Children Project as was a member of the faculty of Union Institute and University’s Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees in maternal child health.
