Karl L LarsonDr. Karl L. Larson completed his B.S. degree in Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services in 1989. Shortly after he returned to the college setting, completing his Master's degree in Student Affairs in 1991. In 1997 he returned to college to complete hs PhD. in Community Health Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He spent 2 years in public health and 4 years teaching at the University of Southern Indiana before coming to Gustavus in 2005. He is the author of three books in the health arena.
