Karuna FedorschakKaruna Fedorschak met Lee Lozowick in 1977. She was trained as an archeologist and moved to Arizona with Lee and his earliest students in 1980. She devoted herself to support of the spiritual community as a bookkeeper, cook, indexer and editor Karuna was one of the lead vocalists in liars, gods, and beggars, a rock band, and she later formed a duo band, Small Change, in which she sang, wrote and arranged music, and played guitar.
