He received his Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) and M.E. (Electrical Engineering - Electronics & Telecommunicatio) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2007 and 2011, respectively. P.G.D. (Computer Technology & Communication) from Government College University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2004 and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2002. His research interests Includes Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine to Machine (M2M) Communication, Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) & Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs), Intelligent Autonomous Systems, Information Security, Biological Inspired Optimization Algorithms.
