Kasia Beresford
Kasia Beresford is a Polish-to-English translator and interpreter. She was brought up in a Polish family in London and studied Modern Languages (French, Russian, and Polish) at Cambridge University. Following a London-based careerin business, she moved to Manchester and returned to her roots working with languages.
She has translated Impressions of America (1922 edition) by Konstanty Buszczyński, and The Evil Neighbour, the memoirs of Antoni Szymański, Poland's military attaché in Berlin the 1930s. She has also translated numerous book extracts, both fiction and non-fiction, for example for the Polish Book Institute's New Books from Poland catalogue.
Ongoing projects include translating Inner Space, a techno-thriller set on the International Space Station due to be published in 2025 by HarperVia.
