Kate Deimling
Kate Deimling translates fiction and nonfiction from French. She holds a PhD in French literature from Columbia University and wrote her dissertation on eighteenth-century libertine novels. Kate is a member of the PEN America Translation Committeeand currently serves as vice president and mentoring program director of the New York Circle of Translators. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
