Kate SheltonGrowing up in a loud and chaotic family, the only thing Kate Shelton could do was to find some quiet behind a thick pair of glasses and the pages of a book. When she failed to grasp calculus in college, Kate turned to her first love: words. She got avery useful liberal arts degree from Colorado State University. A few years later, she earned a Master’s of Creative Writing from the University of Denver. Kate now works in communications, but prefers thrilling characters, dark humor, and emojis to crisis comms.
Kate lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, with her husband and two (loud and wonderful) children.
