Kate Wakeling
Kate Wakeling's first collection of children's poems, Moon Juice, won the CLiPPA Prize in 2017 and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. Her second, Cloud Soup, was a Book of the Month in the Guardian an the Scotsman and was shortlisted for the 2022 CLiPPA. Kate has performed her poems at Shakespeare's Globe, Southbank Centre and the Cheltenham Literature Festival among others. Kate's most recent poetry collection is A Dinosaur at the Bus Stop: Poems to have Fun with, which was shortlisted for the 2024 CLiPPA Award, and won The Week Junior Best Children's Poetry Book of 2024. She lives in Oxford.
