Katherine's father began raping her when she was 13 and he continued a daily assault of sexual, physical and mental abuse until she was 41. Between 26 and 3, she gave birth to four of his children. In 2010 Katherine's father was sentenced to 22 years and five months' jail after pleading guilty to a reign of terror that began in the 1970s and only ended in 2005.
